Proposed New Temporary Clubhouse

Clubhouse Details:

Most of you will know that we have planning permission for a large clubhouse adjacent to the putting green and new car park. Without going into detail, little has happened to progress its design and construction. Realistically, it would be 18-24mths from starting the process to moving in to a completed clubhouse and with that in mind we wanted to find a faster solution.

Many of you will now be aware that we are applying for permission for a new temporary clubhouse. We believe that the proposed timber clubhouse will be a positive step for the golf club as it will provide the facilities that have been lacking since it opened.  Although it will be on a smaller scale than the planned large clubhouse it will be ready significantly sooner.  It will be an attractive, quality timber (log) building from Pinelog in Bakewell and will remove the need for ugly portakabins to provide additional facilities.

This will also enable the local council and community to make use of the Community Centre at an early date.
